Open Face Cubano Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Sour Dough Bread, Large slices from the center
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ham
  • 12 slices Gayo Azul Swiss Cheese
  • 8 slices dill pickle
  • 4 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Spread the softened butter on the sliced sourdough and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-10 minutes until crispy

    and lightly browned.

  1. Spread mustard on each slice of bread.
  2. Layer each slice of bread with ham, pickle, and Gayo Azul Swiss Cheese.
  3. Place the prepared bread in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Serve immediately.
